Part 2
This mask build has been really fun. It turned out as good as I hoped it would for my second mask and my first for ever trimming and airbrushing a mask.

I owe a lot of thanks other fursuiters who were kind enough to post how-to info.

this is very nice, I love the detail. in panel 9 the panting and detail was fantastic. I can only imagine the time it took to do all of this, though what i think could be improved is the teeth. they are awfully tilted and you can see some of the glue clearly. I think the nose does stretch a bit longer than it should, but besides those two this is a wonderful mask :)

Thanks, Super Sculpey.
I like to use florist wire inside of Sculpey things to make them more durable.

this looks awesome! im such a newbie to this kind of stuff, so I have one question: how come you can airbrush fur, and it doesn't get all clumped up and sticky?

Well it depends a lot on the paint you use. stock Createx airbrush paint seems the best for fur. You spray a little on, let it dry a bit with a fan or a hair dryer (I had a fan on it all the time to help paint dry). then brush it with a course brush, to break up any clumping. Repeat til you get the color depth you need, while still being soft. LOTS of light layers built up over time.

If the paint is too watery it will clump more than normal.
I probably spent more time brushing out the fur to keep is soft, than airbrushing.
